What is terroir you ask? Well, the hottest new trend in eat LOCAL.

by the environment, soil, natural climate and topography of an area.

Roger Nelson’s Ice Sculptures: These ice sculptures are fantastic to see in the Spring as they melt, drip and change shape with each passing day. The land around the sculptures is likely underwater, so best to plan a drive-by viewing for this ICY show.

Lake View Organic Farm: After a visit to the ice sculptures, drive up the hill to Lake View Organic Farm. We're OPEN 9-5. You don’t want to miss the chance to inhale the intoxicating aroma of maple sap boiling into syrup or hike the trails through our SUGAR BUSH to see syruping in action. Better yet is to try a cup of our French Press Maple Coffee. This is food of the GODS, a culinary delicacy we only enjoy once or twice a year. Farm Store is OPEN.

The Smiling Pelican Bake Shop: Extraordinary Breads and Pastries on the Porch at 9:00 am -first come, first served. Cash or check only.

The Nest Gallery: is Open 11-6 Leah Sheldon’s perch for local artists has products to help celebrate maple season - perfect little clay pouring pots, handmade earrings made from maple (wood), and her handmade MAPLE candles.

Cultural Cloth: Walk into the colors of summer in this exquisite shop where lively, handmade, artisan textiles are sure to help you get a jump on Spring. Their doors are open 11-4.

Santosha Springs Yoga: Santosha Springs Yoga & Wellness, located on the corner of Hwy. 35 and County Rd. S, will be hosting a yoga studio open house from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. Come see the beautiful studio space, owned & managed by Kristina Ahern, and pick up a free first class pass being offered to new students when in person classes resume. Enter the blue door on the Cty. S side of the building to access the studio. If you want to enter the peaceful studio space, please remove your shoes and practice social distancing.

Maiden Rock Apples, Winery and Cidery: On your way up for a hike on Maiden Rock Bluff, stop for a glass or flight to enjoy in the sunny spring rays. You'll want to grab a bottle of cider or wine to take home, too!

Head back downriver to hit Stockholm's family friendly St. Patrick's Day Parade that starts at 1:00 - bagpiper included!

Stockholm Pie and General Store is open 10-4:30. They will be featuring their special pie of the month, Irish Creme de Menth. They will also be serving up their seriously good sandwiches, savory pies, salads, soups and all their other famous pies! Added bonus, the Stockholm Parade will be right out their door.

Stockholm stores and galleries are excited to open for their new season! Amble the shops to explore their fun and flavor.

YMCA Camp Pepin will be hosting an Open House on March 20th from 1-5pm with trails to wander, disc golf, cabin tours, beach and backwoods bonfires with s'mores. Dress for the weather and come have some fun at camp!

Stop out to see us and join the FUN!
